We welcome your views on all aspects of our work. Please contact us with feedback on our website, our publications or any part of our work programme.

Please note that we cannot provide legal advice or information on individual court cases. If you require legal advice and need assistance finding a solicitor, you may wish to contact the Law Society of Scotland. For information on individual court cases, you may wish to contact either the relevant court or email the Scottish Courts and Tribunals Service data protection officer at DPO@scotcourts.gov.uk.

The Council routinely engages with organisations and individuals. It aims to respond to correspondence within 20 working days, providing information when reasonable and appropriate in relation to areas within the Council’s remit. In developing sentencing guidelines, it engages with a range of relevant organisations and individuals, including representative groups, justice organisations, and academics.

Information about how we will handle any personal data you send us is available here.

The Council's unacceptable actions policy is available here.
