New Instagram page for the Scottish Sentencing Council

The Scottish Sentencing Council is now on Instagram.

As part of its role to inform and educate the public about sentencing, the Council is expanding its reach on social media with the launch of a new Instagram page.

The page will offer information on sentencing across Scotland, as well as details about the work of the Council and the sentencing guidelines currently in development.

It will also promote the wealth of resources available on the Council’s website, including case studies and a jargon buster, and include details of research projects being undertaken by the Council.

A video of Council Chair Lady Dorrian, Scotland’s second most senior judge, talking about the work of the Council is also available to view.
